Death

Death

A Poem by wonkywriter

Foolish humans,
Why is it that you forget about me.
You hear me on the news.
You hear me from your neighbours.
You hear me from your families.
You cry.
Feelings of devastation.
Questions of why.
Then it is all gone.
Like I have never existed.
Going about your life.
As if you'll live forever.
Do remember you pitiful humans.
That I am always here.
Waiting for my command.
To end your life,
and cease your existence.
