I go to bed,

with you, on my mind.

and i dream ,dream of,

what could have been mine.

sweet,sweet dreams,

i have of you!

but sweet dreams

is all i have of you.

sweet,sweet love

brought to my heart

from above

then put,to a poets pen

to fill my heart

with love,yet once again...

This is really good. Love does exist in the heart and in the soul, but can't always be expressed outside of dreams. My heart has felt that pang many times. Great job.

Your poem describes my life . . . I often wonder if maybe I've always been drawn to the sweetness of dreams, as opposed to the hard work of relationships! *sigh!* . . . Still, your words paint a word picture of the way it can feel on many a lonely night long after we squandered the heart(s) we were freely offered!

how do you know they are just dreams? If you could make them real?
Because you like all others have that ability also when you write dear poet don't bother to follow the rules break them and make your own because then once again you'll find yourself a home in the words and the rules will somehow work just let it flow and let it go its about emotion not societies acknowledgment or rules I love this poem but shove everything into it you only gave me half of the feels man GIMMI MORE FEELS there is more to this story that we wish to know ^w^
