Silence

rolling through my brain,

as fast,

as a fast moving train.

 

Through,

the portals,

of my mind ,taking me back,

back in time.

 

Where

memories run deep,

deep into my soul,

a place,only i can go.

 

like

a waterfall,

falling from my mind,

taking me back, back in time...

Silence can give your mind time to try bring up buried memories at exactly the wrong time or allow you to over analyse a situation till anxiety has you seraching for soluition to problems that arnt really all that important. We can be our own worst enemy at times. I like how you express yourself here . Well done!

Yes my friend, the silence has the loudest of sounds and voices, Your inner voice lingers there if You are aware, able to listen to it, Your poem is wonderfully written, with sentimental emotions, the end for me is amazing, because when You go deep into Your inner and reach a certain point, some things might come as a waterfall.

I very much like Your style, it's simple, and have a very lovely musical tune as I've said, it flows to our ears so smoothly and sweetly.

I like the contrast here. I definitely connect with silence seeming louder than noise. Sometimes it would be easier to run some background noise rather than listen to my own mind.

I like how you used water as one of the symbols for the memories because sometimes they can all start to hit you at once sort of like rain, or they can trickle back slowly like water out of a faucet. It was really a clever way to talk about how they actually pop up into the mind.
