You can't stay

You can't stay

A Poem by James Grizzly Jones

He met her they smiled and went out for a day
And he took her to her house
Hoping to get some play
She said your nice a gentleman  the whole day
But I'm sorry you got to go you can't stay
He looked he smiled and went on his way
And said to himself maybe another day
He met her at the bar for a shot or two
She got a little drunk
He said don't worry
I'll drive you
He woke up the next morning with a smile on his face
Saying to her aren't you happy I stayed
She cried and screamed like it was a bad dream
Showing him the papers positive H.I.V
