Thoughts

 

Light

 Quickly flashes

  Above my head

     And helps me to

      Forget my ongoing, wandering mind

       But then I hear a voice

        Calling out like a calm breeze

       And my thoughts come back

      Like all other times

   I won’t forget

  The lonesome

  Feelings

That come

 Like every moment

   In my far past

     And even though it’s hard

       I still look forward and walk

         Remembering distant thoughts of yesterdays

        And other happy feelings

      It was great

    Even though

  It’s

  Gone away

    And I know

      Time and time again

        That I can’t have it

         And it’s no longer mine

            But that’s okay for right now

           Because I’m leaving yet again

         And this is it

       I will say

      Good bye

    Again
