I'll Never Let You Go

I’m always led back to you

A memory leads back so far. . .

A place

A time

When I was with you

But now the moments are gone . . .

You held me tight

I closed my eyes shut

I never thought I would want you so much

To say goodbye

When we started with hello

The last day I saw you

My heart sunk so low

All the strength you had given me

I gave it all back

You made me believe I was strong.

I didn’t know that loving you would only hurt myself

You loved me when I couldn’t love myself.

You’re presence so far way

But heavy all the way

No matter where I am

I’m always thinking of you

I go on living without you

Trying to remember life before you

Even though you’re not here.

It doesn’t feel that way.

I can’t seem to let you go.

You were more than a friend

You were the other half of me

But now you’re across the world

And I'm still wondering where I stand with you

I wonder where I stand

I stand

With you . . .

I’m always thinking of you

But now the memory is gone

I know it's been awhile. It's suppose to be a song but it isn't all the way finished. So please help me fix my song. This was inspired with an experience(s) I've had and this was also inspired by Gravity by Sara Bareilles.
