the places you go

the places you go

A Poem by writtenfor

you go somewhere beautiful, filled with life, stained with light, beating-breathing alive, a place where day is still, where night is warm and bright. you sit, unmoved-- waiting calmly, soaking in the humming buzz of the quiet, it is a symphony to your ears, it is a breath--a depth, that soaks deep into the corners of your heart, pushing and pulling the hope you know that lies heavy within. this place spins around you--you make it move, and it moves you, churning and chasing each other, you are its beat and it is your rhythm. it is home, the places you go, and you would but stay if you were not alone.  you are waiting for someone to break through your dimensions of space and time, finding the place you go, finding your home--where your soul is hidden and shy, hidden behind the holes in your eyes.

Deep and full of powerful emotion,
very well expressed and well written.

I like the many impressional layers in this piece. It sets an inner private mood and definitely a pace. This pulses with feeling, and begins to sculpt that place into dimension. Good stuff.
