Are We Only...Are We Just...

Are we only two strangers passing by,
Like the wind passing through the trees.
Are we only two people locking eyes,
a calm refreshing sight just like the autumn breeze.

Or do you believe our relationship is much more sophisticated,
complicated, intricate and whole.
An intimate legitimate relationship,
reaching a common goal.

Are we only two individuals who have been scarred by love,
Betrayed by the blissful beautiful thought of peace.
Are we only two spirited souls,
Seeking solace in a world where silence is ceased.

I speak my mind to you, not to lure your heart astray,
I cherish my nights with you, because I miss you in the day.
Believe me when i say your special, a living human art
and although you don't believe in love, Ill give my heart so you can start.

Are we just two hopeless lovers,
in a time so long ago.
or are we two distant travelers,
Exchanging words as we go.

Honestly I want nothing more but love you
because I have been through so much pain.
Truthfully I know you want to love me
and I know you been through the same.

Are we just two fearful human beings,
Who tremble at the thought of peace.
Are we just two mental masochists,
and pain is what we feast.

I have never written a poem for any lover,
and you are the first to ever read its words.
I have never connected with anyone else so in depth
and this poem is what you deserve.

We are just two young adults, who share each others trust
because we are two deep souls who yearn for no lust.
We are only two travelers, who walk a lonely path of strife,
but if your tired of being lonely, then together we'll walk this path for life.

Brilliant. Phenominal. Jeesh, it's really hard to explain this. I like the rhyme, the rhythm. Theme, everything. It's absolutley phenominal. All I can really say.
