As I lay

Down beside you

I think about

What we’ve been through

The good and the bad

We had them all

Some really great times

And some very close calls

Love is eternal

This much I know

As each day goes by

Our love together grows

Sharing our life

Sharing our time

Loving each other

It's the greatest divine

Normaly I don't like happy poems
I'm not an oger I just can't grasp how fake they can be
Not everyone knows what real love is
But
I love this poem.
You clearly know what makes love real
Love is hard work.
You can't expect there to not be tough times.
Thats what makes it more special and real and very exciting.

this is exactly how i feel about my love. we've had bad times, really bad times in my opinion, but we always seem to get through it and get it fixed and out of the way. i love the poem, great job.
