Desperation Anew..

I'm pretty sure 'anew' is a word. If not, I just made it one.

My heart beats for you,

With a desperation anew.

 

Struggling to write,

With an extremely dull pencil,

Feelings still not yet clear.

 

All I can honestly figure,

Is the fact that,

I want you here.

 

I know it's got to get better.

I'll move on,

And you'll finally let go.

 

But  what if,

That feeling comes back?

Or if it never fades?

 

Now I'm not even sure I want it gone.
