Raindrops on my window

When life just isn't fair and you can no longer hold it all in

Just like raindrops falling from my eyes.
Just like my tear drops falling from the sky.

Here I search high and low
For my heart has reached its all time low
Here I sit in this empty room.
Shrouded by all this gloom

Only light my eyes can see
Is the light through the window shining on me
I wish this light reflected my life
So I don't have to spend it fussing and fighting

I hate the words thrown my way
And how they make me feel throughout the day
I wonder why those words cut so deep
Invisible scars that only my eyes can see
I wonder how can I withstand this pain
My tears synchronized with the raindrops on my window pane
