You, Me, And The Beach

You, Me, And The Beach

A Poem by Stacy Purvis

Come saunter and take my hand,

As we walk along the beach,

Carve our initials in the sand,

As the waves fade out of reach.

Our eyes meet for a moment,

And then suddenly, you look away,

Recollection of the time we’ve spent,

On this, the glorious of days.

My love for you grows stronger,

With each and every passing day,

And the hours seem much longer,

Whenever you’re away.

Fearless Angel, Light, my love

This blessed union from Heavens above.
