"He", A Sonnet

"He", A Sonnet

A Poem by Stacy Purvis

Q. 1
He, robust in nature and so divine
Unequivocally concise, and so;
His mind, a brutal, violent dark line
His heart, a fine stream amidst a meadow.

Q. 2
Hollow chest and ghastly remains abuse
Oh, much to his despair he cannot find
Lips of alabaster, afraid to lose
Things he grasps and remains he can’t define.

Q. 3
Oh, genteel man and owner of my heart
See you not, the world and as it is so?
Creating monsters through passion and art
Release the Dragon and defeat this foe!

Couplet:
For many a night my heart yearns for you,
And my eyes, focused, I bid you, Adieu.

Going from physical to psychical describers gets a little choppy. The accented beats are all but missing as well. I think you've captured something by the tail here...
