Anguish

Anguish

A Poem by Gitana Deneff

Inject your acid into my veins,

setting my soul on fire,

my fingers tear

ragged holes through

upturned palms.

You’re relentless,

I’m shattered by your

torrent of screams,

and accusations that

cut like biting blades

through my head.

My heart is thrown

into your blender

along with my mind.

Two birds

One hundred stones.

Awesome poem...love the imagery and metaphors...I love the ending...some can kill 2 birds with one stone, yet others may take many. Lovely.

Beauty of the sentimental segment... Nice Phylosophy and Grace....
