Girl on Fire

A short poem I made for my friend Brittany Mazon. :) Hope you like it Brittany. Just wanted you to know that you are a very good friend and I appreciate you being here for me. <3

She's just a girl and she's on fire

wanting to light up the world with her 

flames, always telling me to keep strong

and to keep my head in the game.

She wakes up every morning 

with a smile on her gorgeous face

telling herself today is a brand new

day and anything to come her way

she will take on strong and embrace it.

She's beautiful, confident, and has

the smile of an angel

a smile so sweet and bright,

it could light up the night sky brighter

than the stars.

She's always wanting to lend a hand

when someone is feeling lost

and if you are alone and cold,

she will comfort you with her warmth

and her soothing hugs.

She's a girl on fire,

who has a fierce passion and a deep

desire to just find someone to

love her, like she deserves to be

loved in this world.

She's calm, collected, and feisty all

rolled into one...she's my beautiful

friend who I like to call Brittany Mazon.

She likes to sing, and act weird

which is what I love about her the most.

I call her the girl on fire

because no matter how dark and down life

can get, I can always count on her to

shine brightly and bring the warmth

back into my heart, and a smile on my face. 

So I give my thanks to the girl on fire who help

put the strength back in myself 

and I just wanted to let you know my sweet friend

that you are very beautiful and smart

and you deserve all the happiness in this world.
