Fading love

My love for you was once vigorous
I miss how you use to passionately 
kiss my lips, you no longer desire them,
your lips against mine do I sure miss.

What has happened to us?
Our love life used to be full of
sexual intensity and desire, why have we 
let the flames of our love burn out? 

We use to hold so much care
and compassion about one 
another, what have I done to
make you lose interest in me?

I feel as if we've only become
friends now, is our love for each
other really completely lost? I really
don't want it to be, because I love 
you like I've never loved anyone.

I just feel as if you've lost your
lust for me, that you don't find
me as attractive as you once use
to. Tell me what I need to change,
and I will do it only for you.

I miss your thrilling touch,
when you run your fingers
up my spine, I just simply miss
the feeling of you being mine. 

Have I completely lost you?
Do you no longer care?
You use to be in love with me,
I want to know if the feelings
are still there?

I know you say you love me
but that doesn't always mean
that's true, because you don't 
show it to me like you use to do.

I don't want our love to be fading
so I need you to tell me how you feel,
I want to go back the way it was before
when I knew that OUR love was real.

So please if you read this
come and talk to me about 
what you're feeling, because
these emotions I have
I'm tired of concealing.

I just want things to go 
back to the way they were
when we first got together,
how we promised each other
that our love would last forever.
