Perfection(triggering)

this may be triggering for people struggling with ad eating disorder like myself! I wrot ethis as a way to vent and hopefully get help, it didn't work. I am still dealing with it...

Sitting in class, dead silence.

Roar from my stomach, no one laughs.

“You should eat” they say, but they’ll never know.

They just think I need more, when in fact I need less.

 

Perfect is unhealthy,

But I am unhealthy,

Trying to achieve,

The perfect body.

 

Lunch is soon, I’ll skip it.

People start to worry.

I say I will eat later.

I might have supper, if it’s small.

 

I can’t eat, it hurts.

If I eat, I’ll throw up.

It’s just one cycle.

 

Perfect if unhealthy,

But I am unhealthy,

Trying to achieve,

My perfect body.
