she used to be strong ,this girl i knew
that was until her popularity grew
this girl used to be tough and wasn't afraid to fight
but then stupid little flaws took over her sight

counting blessings everyday, this girl knew she was so lucky
she saw her bestfriends make all these mistakes , boys were just yucky
she picked a few to depend on and trusted them with her life
so oblivious , she got stabbed over and over again with a knife

since grade five she had her bestfriend , and yet she saw the end come
this girl lost everything thanks to her stupidity, her tears were only some
yet she picked up and left because that's what she always had to do
and every time hurts more then the time before , but she always knew

hooking up with guys that were easy seemed to be a new turn
she knew this was wrong , something she taught herself to learn
these guys said things to her face and all s**t behind her back
now shes so depressed all she wants to do is get out and pack

nothing was ever perfect , this girl just wants to run
being who she is was the exact opposite of fun
why was she not good looking like everyone else seemed to be
but her thoughts were killing the beautiful sole she could not see

she is so alone , everything she worked so hard to become was not legit
its time she doesn't look back and moves along because its her time to quit
how was this girl so blind , how could she just never see
god please take away this pain , i cannot believe this girl is me.
