Bright Little Stars

Bright Little Stars

A Poem by EightCloudArmy

You were my love.
You were the one that kept me going.
You were the one that made me believe in myself.

That day,
is a mystery,
That shall never be uncovered.

Why did you have to go that day?
Why did god take you that day?
You were so young.
You were so amazing...

I understand.
You are at a better place now,
but i feel so lonely.

We could of went for a long walk,
across the beautiful shore,
of Montauk Beach.

We could of went dancing,
communicating our emotions,
through our bodies.

We could of went to that concert.
That guy with the violin,
you always wanted to see.

People say i need help.
People say i need to be protected.
I'm suicidal they all say.
That may be true...

You took my breath away,
with your kind words,
and your bravery.

Why did this accident take you,
Away from your family,
you friends,
and...
me.

We could of went on top of the roof again;
im painting a picture of the night sky.
"Thats your star" you said,
in your kind tone,
pointing towards a star above me.

You take my small weak hand,
walk me over to the edge of the roof,
and lay my fradile body down,
on the rough bumpy roof.

We could of done that again...
why did you have to go..

We could of went on that roof again...
we would smile; our hearts linked to eachother,
talk about our futures.

We could of been here...
Looked up..
and smiled...
At the stars...
The bright little starts...

Very pretty, Paula. It has a nice pacing that goes hand in hand with the emotional tone. I like this one.
