Anthology of a Raindrop

Anthology of a Raindrop

A Poem by timthy
"

How each raindrop affects the grand scheme of things , much like each human intertaction affects the next....an analogy, so to speak......

"

Life is but a ripple

    Each one touching another

Seeming complex, yet so simple

Each raindrop differs from the other

Ripple started from raindrop

    Starting something it can't control

Singular in its autonomy

     Yet affecting the whole

Seeming so scripted

     Yet so out of control

A playwright of nature

     Each ripple a soul

Ripples dancing about

     From inwards to outwards

Each with its own tale of raindrop outcome

     From forward to backwards

Each raindrop that falls

     Creating that ripple

For another raindrop it calls

For its place in the middle

It's a natural wonder

      A passage of time

Even the lightning and thunder

      Both wonderful in design

The ripples represent

      A certain timeline

That  is divinely assembled

     Something we cannot define

From raindrop to ripple

      All equal in their worth

All sharing a unique purpose

In their descent to this earth

Those ripples remind us

Of our short time on this earth

To perform like that raindrop

That causes waves with its birth

As noontime approaches

        With its afternoon glow

No longer  raindrops or ripples

Elegantly replaced with a rewarding rainbow........

That's an awesome poem man. The first of yours that I read and the best that I've read out of anyone so far on this site :)
