After Dark - Chapter Fifty-Eight

A Chapter by lawrence bear

Mist slowly crawled its way across the forest floor, among the fog it moved stealthily. The moon in its spectacular sphere, shined brightly across the landscape. The beast ran, and through its eyes, the redness helped it see through the haze. Swiftly it ran through the forest and turning up fallen leaves. The autumn air was damp and cool. An owl perched in a tree, turned its head following the black ghost across the woodland. It moved quickly and silently and the haze of mist curled as it sped by with a growl.
