Something that was on my mind,

 

 

Love

 

In sad times we must stand tall,

Hearts those are broken.

We must show strength,

Memories are our token.

 

Be brave and strong,

It’s okay to show tears,

Memories we cherish,

Love lasts through out the years.

 

Love is not a word,

Love is love.

Shining brightly,

Sharing its warmth from heaven above.

 

I am forever smiling now,

I know you are feeling blue.

I will always and forever,

Love, and watch, over you.

What I enjoyed most of this poem was the rhyming.
And from your whole poem, I enjoyed reading the last stanza:

"I am forever smiling now,
I know you are feeling blue.
I will always and forever,
Love, and watch, over you"

From the last stanza, it's the last line that actually caught my eyes a bit more :)

Love is funny like that. It can give a man air to soar the heavens or it can crush his heart into dust. It is hard to get over a heart break and then to love again with trust but love always finds away around that obstacle of fear. I have a love affair with love itself. Very nice and good write.
