Hockey Is

Hockey Is

A Poem by lawrence bear
"

The Glory

"

Hockey is ,

a goal,

a mission.

Hockey is,

my heart,

my condition.

Hockey is,

a gamble,

a roll of the dice.

Hockey is,

a commitment,

and self sacrifice.

Hockey is,

my life,

my pride.

Hockey is,

my passion,

with nothing to hide.

Hockey is,

my breath,

my story.

Without it,

no goals,

no glory.

Well put together for random thoughts. I am a hockey spectator so I appreciate the player's point of view. Nicely done!

Hockey is a sport because of your book I can appreciate lol... This was a nice piece. Any word on that cover. Can't wait to see it. This piece should be put on a bookmark to hand out with your books it would be a nice companion to it.

I simply thought that the rhyming was a very cool touch!
It was very good, and I loved it. (even if i don't like hockey but i do watch it like once a month..lol)
