A Chapter by Sir Drift & Mr. Pulse

When is the last time I looked down and noticed your existence?

When rainbows sat on your face and the wind combed your hair

The fog covered your body to hide your beauty

Until the day of our consumption

Oh how did I ever forget?

That it was you who rushes the waters and swallows the pain

You who burns the fire to ash the anger inside thus love

When did I look down to see your feet of glass which walk down the path of light?

Bright, bright, you have always been right.

It’s been some time yet on a clock it has no measure

Because you will always be the treasure

Of my life, my work and my rest

Yes you the one who builds the nest of the willow in need of warmth

What fool am I to try and find something

Someone who comes with ease, I know very well there are just a tease

For the real love is held within you

Forgive me dear for being so blind, I need to reject my mind

Who thinks in incorrect equations, trying to find a solution towards persuasion.

I look no more for now I swear

That you my Spiritual Wife are the true heir.
