16. A Sky in your Eyes

16. A Sky in your Eyes

A Chapter by Sir Drift & Mr. Pulse

Your eyes are nothing but skies

Stars not only shine on your head

But in the sky of your lamp

Yet the ocean is that reflection

Have you ever looked at the ocean at night?

It sparkles like the lights in the sky

The White Sun reflects in the ocean of your window

Yet it comes for more than just a beautiful light

This reflection of a red sky shows the oceans colors

And this color is not of joy

It’s of immorality and agony

This color also shines in the ocean

But what Ocean is this I mention?

This ocean is not to a simple eye

If an eye is a sky then what is its heart?

It’s the Ocean of an eye, that which I mention

Not everything that the sky reflects will be good

The ocean will also have signs of sadness

Yet that ocean could be joy instead of guilt

Let your ocean reflect a great joy

Now if you close your eyes what can it reflect?

This is when your heart reflects in the eyes of the spirit

But be careful, because if a glimpse of light comes in then the spirit can be confused

And this is when your Dreams become the Sky to the Ocean of your Mind.

This feels like a playful guided tour thru the various aspects of ocean & sky as a creative team to tackle various waves of whatever life brings. I love your metaphor in terms of spirituality, especially that you can convey your obviously strong faith in terms that are relatable to anyone at any point on the faith spectrum. To me, this is the best part of inspirational writing (((HUGS)))
