This recalled the snake -Kaa - out of Disneys Jungle book.
We all learn to manipulate before we learn to speak. Babies learn that wailing gets them things - food, attention, The Walls Street journal, etc.
We learn that manipulating isnt an acceptable way to interact and in the main we dont use it but we all 'have it' - we just dont 'bring it'.

Terrifying and troublesome. Conjures up images of a "gypsy" in the older times, although I do think the ethnic group still exists.

This piece reminds me of a certain movie I cannot pin-point! But great job on the imagery, if that is where you were taking this piece; I know poems can be interpreted in many different ways.

I enjoyed the story of it.

The last line creates the uneasiness, as if the one being spoken to is no longer in control of the situation.
