Rejection.

Many of us have been there, others are lucky and may never taste the bitterness and heartache of it all.

What you have done her is capture the gutwrenching feeling with few words. I'll always come back to your work, not because I find your messages easy to understand, but your words which you use in these type of pieces are always seemingly perfect for the content of the piece.

Always a fan.

Mark.

Ahh yes, if one is strong then it's easy I guess...
The stark, dark beauty of melancholy. Rejection is one of those things that never gets easier.

Yes, it isn't. Thank you for your words here, Ken.
The flow is good, the meaning clear and beautifully written, and the emotion is heart rendering. Well done, love.

Thank you for reading and liking. Truly appreciate your words here 😊
Being rejected by someone you care about really does create a sharp physical pain for me. I think it's interesting to just look at this one little slice of life with a magnifying glass. When you put "experimental" to describe your poems, it reminds me of Coyote John putting "just words" . . . maybe you should make this your permanent byline! *wink! wink!* Good sensory details to show taste & physicality of psychic pain.
