Silver

Dealing with teasing and bullying is harder than I imagined, but I will not give up.

I am silver

Killing werewolves who

Feast upon my confidence.

I will avenge.

I am silver

Glowing like the moon

Through mediocre darkness.

I will shine.

I am silver

Anchoring myself

Against the pull of the past.

I will persevere.

I am silver

Retaining lustre

Impervious to corrosion.

I will prevail.

Author's Note

Note: Silver Hills is the name of my new school, so I thought it would be a nice play on words to use the metal and its uses in reality and fiction as parallels.
Thoughts?

Aww, I definitely think bullying and teasing should be put to a halt too! It's pointless and quite stupid to me! My parents always tells me that the reason people do that is because they're jealous of something you have that they don't. Please listen to that piece of advice, because that's true. :) Keep your head lifted high and the thing that just kills bullies is when you shine your biggest smile even when they throw negativity at you! Try it, it's so fun :D Anyway, this poem's depressing but also a fact of life. Great job, keep up the good work. :)
