Life  is neither poppy nor rose

It may be smooth or harsh
Like pleasant breeze or burning brush

Everyone has to face the reality
With passion,commitment and ability

Perfect person may not win the prize
While a handicap may give surprise

Dream,devotion and drive for goal
May make one honored and successful

I greet challenged persons from my heart
You have conquered through your art

Your success is a lesson for us all
You will always shine and never fall

These days being honest is seen as a handicap. If a person says what they think they are labeled unless it goes along with the crowd; unless it pretends that everyone is equal. But I find it interesting that the beautiful girl never says to the homely girl, "I'm just as pretty as you." The rich man never says to the bum on the street, "I'm worth just as much as you." The intellectual never says to the idiot, "I'm every bit as smart as you." The situation is always reversed. Because it is obvious in its dishonesty. Society loves an amiable lie. Every person invents their own reality in what they choose to believe. As a man believes, so it is in his reality. Love is the only equalizer that I know of greater than death. Because love puts beauty in the eye of the beholder; wealth in the heart of men and wisdom beyond knowledge in the beautiful simplicity of thought. The only disability that exists in my reality is the inabilty to love. I enjoyed the read.

Very touching!!! We should not consider them inferiors in any way but give them credit for what is rightly due to them.A physically challenged person is never complacent like us.....so called normal people.He strives hard to attain his goal.So he deserves better treatment from us.
