Misfortune

Misfortune

A Poem by zainul
"

Misfortune begets fortune and freedom

"
When misfortune follows misfortune like violent waves
I get frightened by the deadly surge
I look for shelters like covered caves
An unknown person inside me makes frantic urge

It seems that misfortune will never end
My mere existence will face painful doom
I passionately hope  for a benevolent friend
Who will take me to a safe home

Suddenly a strange voice starts to mutter
I stare around to see the person
Something seems to move and flutter
I feel that somebody delivers a sermon

I get courage from the words of wisdom
Misfortune begets fortune and freedom

It was my pleasure, it was beautifully written.
This is deep, dark and very wisely written piece of art, you gave many shades of reality of human lives.
Great work and thank you for sharing

You're most welcome my friend
I see the freedom standing out for me more then the mis fortunes and fears.

I think we have the same mysterious person whom shares wisdom and courage with us.

Misfortune is certainly frightening, because it seems that bad things heap up on you. But there is always hope, as misfortunane will fade, and good fortune will shine.

I really enjoyed this poem for I see many possibilities for it: I have rewritten your first verse in my own style to give you some idea of what I mean. You may keep this version as your own: It would make a good song:

Wisdom

When misfortune’s crescent waves
scare me with their deadly surge
where I run for hills and caves
I feel a redeeming urge.
