Haiku Collection 4

Haiku Collection 4

A Poem by Syke
"

More haiku form poetry

"

Winter

Nature slumbers now

Her breaing slows to a crawl

Her eyes flutter, close

Relativity

Two objects moving

Through timespace at the same rate

Time stops and stands still

Twain

Our souls split in two

We are only half ourselves

Can we form one whole?

Questions

Are we even friends?

Can we be something different?

Maybe, something more?

These are beautiful. I especially like the personification of winter in "Winter", but I like the titles (especialy "Twain") and word choices in all of these poems. The flow carries me along, and I am able to picture and feel the subject matter. Looking forward to reading more.

I know that, but for the sake of simplicity I label everything as Haiku referring to the 5-7-5 format instead of the focus on nature.
