cold hearted neglect

cold hearted neglect

A Poem by ZmH

stone cold ground
beneath my feet
warm sunshine bringing heat
salty taste upon my face
chills from what could be fate
winter fades fast to summer
words come out as a murmur
shall anyone know truth
or shall i remain living beneath this roof
ignored by all
hated by none
you shall see what you have done
blood shall pour to stone cold floor
sun shall no longer warm my skin
ill be left with one last perspiration
blood pours..
i shall no longer be ignored
my last breath
vision blurs
blood no longer stirs
maybe now i shall hear your words
i am lost
your love is found
to bad my blood is wasted..
upon stone cold ground

Great poem! I like how entranced the reader can get into the words. It allows them to be more in depth with the emotions in this piece. Nice work!
