Run Away.

Run Away.

A Poem by zoehambridge

So tell me what to do,
I'll listen. Just because you're you,
Should I run away?
Save myself from pain?
Or stay?
And be wrapped around and have you wrapped around.
My heart, may ache but with your arms around me whilst I wake,
I will endure it
Maybe.
Tell me what to do.
My thoughts seem to only consist of you.
My love,
Almost unrequited,
Being thrown right back at me,
Hit me,
I'll close my eyes,
The blackness can join my shallow heart,
Which seems you are only a part.
Should I run away or just hide?
My mind and translucent soul,
Swallowed by a screaming tide.
Save me.
You thought I might of learnt.
