train

train

A Poem by zoophagous
"

About on a train to see someone fantastic

"

I'd rather have been in the astral plane than this body of reference;

Uniform translation is the definition of predictability and I've got a far way yet to go.

But the tedium of this situation shall be worth the incessant grinding of metal upon metal and patter of gnawed nails  because I know that when I see you that you'll have something beautiful to say.

I wish the ending had been them opening their mouth and making the sound of wheels braking against rails.

Perhaps that is too much like Donnie Sutherland at the end of "The Body Shoppers", though. NO, THE EXFOLIANT PADS GOT HIM.
