The wind.A Poem by Sweet_pale_cacophony
Yet again
Howling wind resounds against my coiled cochlea and I smile As it softly beats against my cheeks It resonates through chill of winters Through hostile tropical Indian summers It comes and sings to me as it spreads its hymns every season Nothing does behold it It says 'I will gather and blow away everything that your little mind clings on to every day' I believe it will.... It makes the leaves spin..waltz As it sings so loud celebrating its own mirth Trail of my thoughts crumble down and are indeed swept away In bits it will smoothly take away the dust of time Time that we try to collect but it elopes away with this rough creature called wind. I smile back at my constant friend..of all seasons More leaves join in nature's gaiety One day it will blow me away too When I fall into ashes Where will the wind flow me away is a mystery I waste no time asking about so Wherever it blows me away My free soul will follow.. Now Then. © 2012 Sweet_pale_cacophonyReviews
