Hi, I used to be a teacher specialising in working with children with dyslexia, but now I spend most of my time looking after a flock of rare breed Cotswold sheep, and writing whenever I can. I have been working on Nile Cat which is a time slip childrens/YA novel set in modern and ancient Egypt. I have been working on it for some years (more than I care to remember/admit!) It is a complete novel but it still needs plenty of polishing... I am also writing a biography of my grandfather and his family currently titled 'More Than A Soldier' - which also involves Egypt as they were immensely enthusiastic about all things Egyptian and great traveller/collectors! I enjoy writing short stories and have now contributed to 4 anthologies of short stories centred around Oxford, which have been really surprisingly successful!!!
