About Me

I'm a writer, artist, musician and activist who lives in the Pacific Northwest--a region known locally as Cascadia.

I'm also an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church who follows and honors the Braided Way and holds sacred life and all that is life. I make hoop drums, jewelry, dreamcatchers and goddess incense burners.

With paint and pen, rhythm and word, in swirls of wood and clay, on wings of movement and sound--I display my soul.

These images I create to reawaken humanity's connection to Earthmother and to the cosmos

Thank you. I'm not familiar with the gods or any of the alive American culture, but I know I love animals, and I once had devoted my life to animals.

I just hadn't sent the read requests yet...I feel a little guilty, because I haven't caught up on the backlog of read requests that built up over my ordeal of finding new housing. never fear I will catch up on them all.

Hey there Maggie O'. Hope your well. I had a gander at your stuff at deviant art. Very enchanting. There were many beautiful pieces so many but I particularly loved Into the Maelstrom, it looked to me like an illustration from a Victorian era adventure story the kind that I read as a child. I loved Groundedness and the Pine Shaman. I thought some of the pine tree sketches reminded me of hand drawn illustrations from Tolkien or Lewis Caroll books.

I have a few themed photo galleries that I've started on my website if you'd like to take look. There's some great shots of Japanese temples and old trees.

Hi All!

My e=mail ap in Writers Cafe has never worled--I think it has something to do with the fact that I use dial up at home so here's an update.

We're moved--still a lot of boxes, some printer cables still not found and various other items but I have acheived that feeling of home of belonging that was shattered by the condemnation of the property Russ and I and several other families lived on.

I love it--I get to hear children playing outside my door and there is a sense of closeness and community that had been missing at the old place for the past few years.

Dear Freinds,

I'm back. Russ and I now have a new home sans code violations, mold and electrical problems. I promise to catch up on all read requests now that I can devote all of my attention and mind to giving your wonderful works the full consciousness and devotion they deserve--now that the ax of homelessness is not looming over my family's collective neck.

Dear Freinds,
I promise to get to all of your read requests at some point. My significant other and I are dealing with finding a new place to live. Where we are now was annexed into city limits and does not meet city codes as no permits were ever filed and we have until the 22nd of July to find a new place. Prayers and positive energy is welcome.

Yes, I've looked at your drawings and like them a lot. Reminds me of the "ents" from Lord of the Rings.
