I am a student of history first and foremost. I like to imagine myself as a writer and weaver of beautiful words. I think myself witty, cynical, and critical. My favorite works to read are historical account, or works written in the past. Military history is, by far, the subject I find the most interesting. I feel that nothing has had as much influence in the course of mankind as warfare. I am currently a senior in high school. Once I graduate, I plan on going to college with the Army ROTC scholarship program. My family has had an extensive military background, and by using the program I can not only enter into the service while getting my education but also allow both my older and younger brothers to use more of my father's GI Bill for their college. I've talked about my hopeful future because I will continue to write while in the service, and hopefully it will allow me some insight and revelation to my works.
