About Me

Margery Phelps is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, where she majored in journalism at Georgia State University. She is the author of several health books including New Life...Naturally - the home guide to harmonious health, and Common Sense Medicine, for Robert A. Nash, M.D., two children's books, Harmony's House - a story book to color and Mighty-Me and the Rainbow Plate, and a novel, Chasing the Wind. She also wrote At First Sight-the Shirl Jennings Story, which is a biography of the man who was the subject of the MGM motion picture, At First Sight. Margery designed and co-wrote with Janiece C. Andrews, MD. a training manual for the MLM industry titled Downline Dynamics.

In September 2010, Ms. Phelps was a co-author of A Juicy Joyful Life, an anthology of short stories by women writers; the book was a Hot # 1 Best Seller on Amazon when it launched. Another short story by Ms. Phelps, Where did I Go? was published in an e-book by Inspired Living Publishing.

Ms. Phelps is the creator of trademarked cartoon characters she uses to teach health and nutrition to children through her company Glow Kids and she is the co-founder of Apple Pie Books (www.KidsBookGroup.com).

In addition to writing, Ms. Phelps has lectured throughout the United States and Canada on nutrition and wellness and the politics of health care. She resides at Lake Arrowhead, a suburb of Atlanta, and has two grown children, five grandchildren and eight Godchildren.
