Fiction Goals

Fiction Goals

I just completed adjusting Act I and Act II of Color Me in Serenity. Act III will receive a major overhaul. The changes have not been registered to the internet yet, but I am getting there. I researched some self-publishing options today and a promising option is Outskirts Publishing. The optimum and mist average price for both publishing and advertising is $300 each. That is an optimum of $600 if I am going to market my book. Which means I am having to steamroll hard on the job market. tongue emoticon Which I wouldn't worry. I'm sure I can get a job pretty soon.
Once I get that taken care of, I can focus more on my next to stories: The City and the Doorway, The Outlaw of the New Kingdoms.

I also have a profile on FictionPress. A friend told me about writerscafe, so just started posting here.

I have a process, in which I post one of my chapters a week. I also have someone editing my work. When she sends me one of my chapters (edited) I'll update that chapter.

Feel free to tell me what you think. Maybe you like the plot or theme, or maybe you believe there are things I can improve on. I'll gladly appreciate it.

Theme

All of my stories wrap around theme. Theme is everything in the stories I write. The themes of my stories will be about aspects of life that some or all of us face. Faith, life, love, feelings and individuality, these are what I want to inspire in my stories, but they won't exactly be the direct themes of my stories, at least not all of them.

I am a Christian, as is to say I believe in God and that I believe Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, that he died for our sins. Some of my stories will be based on faith, but not all of them, at least not directly. I understand that not every one is a Christian. I am not here to force my beliefs on anyone else or make anyone believe the way I do. I admit, I am not perfect and I am far from perfect. As someone who has struggled with sin aswell as struggled in this cruel world and survived, if their is one thing I want to inspire to readers, that is to live.
