About Me

Hey, my name is Veronica but many just call me Vee Vee. I'm 15 years old but please don't underestimate my writing because of my age. I've been writing ever since I learned how and my main goal is to become a professional writer. I take it very seriously and therefore striving to improve.

I write mostly what you would call "dark" material which is found in my poetry and my novels. The most thing I love about writing is that it's limitless. When you leave words on the paper your creating something that you have totall control of.

Veronica,
Thanks for clarifying that line I did wonder if you meant that. I love your imagery and metaphors in your work you have a wonderful gift, though my personal thought it is sometimes simplicity is more powerful the old saying less is more is true in some circumstances in writing. I think of writers like Dr Suess and Betrix Potter.

I'm so glad you took the time to really read into my poem. I'm very flattered. Yes, it is different than a lot of my other works (let's see, I've covered cocaine, crystal meth, rape, suicide, cutting, family disfunction, erotica, God, mental illness, poverty, unrequited love, and my own homosexuality). LOL... Yeah, some big topics. Mostly from a negative place. But I've gotten to a much more hopeful place in my life, and I think my writing is reflecting that. I was hoping people would like the more mature / thoughtful direction my writing is taking. I'm sure darker days are still to come, but I'm pretty damned optimistic at the moment :-)
