Mama Bear (and her more adventurous alter-ego, Wicked Wahine) was born on a day of volcanic eruption, a foretelling of her fiery spirit and her all-consuming desire for the arts and humanities . Her mother is Pele, the Goddess of Fire and her father is Maui, Hawaii's own Superman. When she's not dreaming up ways to write steamy erotica or penning what she hopes are insightful ponderings on life, she enjoys reading historical fiction, surfing (the web), listening to Hawaiian music, and cooking "onolicious grinds" for her kane and keikis.
