Night Magick  May 17, 2009 - May 24, 2009

Since this is our first group contest, the requirements aren't going to be that demanding. I don't want to scare you off that quickly. :P

So, write a story about one time when you stayed up all night, either writing, on your computer, or something else, and what it felt like. Seeing as how we're not nocturnal, and would be used to sleeping at night and only being active in the morning, we'd find it weird and stangely exhilirating. I want to feel your attraction to the night here. Describe what you were doing and how you felt to actually become a creature of the night, for lack of a better term. I, for one, know that when everything is so quiet, our senses go on 'full-mode', so you're aware of practically everything in your surroundings.

It can only be in story format, but the story can be anything, whether it's first person, or a narrative...be creative! The most important thing is that you don't bore me!!! (You could also use the contest picture for inspiration. Personally, that is what I'd love my nights to be like. :P)
