How to Write Believable Sex Scenes

Sex. It’s one of those things that everyone talks about and most people do at least once in their life. As writers, we don’t decide at age twenty-one that we’re writers. It’s in our blood, and we do it when we feel like it. But writing a sex scene, and a really good one, takes practice, time and energy. This class is going to teach you all about writing about romance, love, and yes, sex, so that it’s believable. This is not your grandmother’s dusty Harlequin people, we’re going to go deep, explore, and learn about more than the act but the emotions inherent in “lovemaking”. Because, as writers, we do “make love” as in create that special element in a book which not only brings the characters and their emotions alive, but adds validity and solidity to the text. *submit assignments as comments, and I will respond individually with feedback via private message.
