Here's your first assignment: create a one liner. It can be funny or dramatic. It can be dialogue or someone thinking. It can be an action or...yep, you get my drift. Create a one liner that you think will draw the readers in.

Here's an example (but no copying): In his mind, it was a chess game—and his queen was about to be taken down by a lonely, yet brave, pawn.
