About Me

I teach ... originally earned at Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. I worked in and owned two business' then at the age of 50 began teaching and added a Masters in Education and Learning Disabilities endorsement to my Teaching Certificate. I am a Vietnam Veteran. Politically I consider myself an independent but lean mostly to the left on social issues.

I apologize for being inactive for so long but I have been having health issues going back to early spring of this year and have recently been diagnosed with lung cancer ... I had been hoping to write more but just have not had the motivation, energy nor drive to do so ... perhaps it will come. I am doing my best to fight this dreaded illness and am hoping that someday I will return using this experience and others from my life to create written memories and experiences that may prove to be of benefit to others ... keep up all of your wonderful work ... there is nothing better than self expression through the written word ... always ... dbest
