About Me

Diana is twenty-three. a graduate student majoring in English literature at Cal State Fullerton. a hopeless romantic. a woman-child with a wounded heart.

I write short stories for the most part, but have been trying to pen a novel for the last two years. I tend to run into the "sagging middle" and drop projects entirely. My someday-notoriety will be found on the bestseller lists (I hope!) as a romance and/or chick lit author. On the flipside, my other scrawlings fall between literary/mainstream and the umbrella of "fiction". (And despite what you may read: I don't just write sex.)

Ah thanks a bunch Diana for the review. I really appreciate it when someone goes as in depth as possible. lol, "silver bells" comes up for ya, eh? Well that was kind of intentional. I just said to myself, "what else can I really say?" It is a classic line... But damn if it cut the mood, that's not what I wanted! Oh you can't win em' all, I guess.

btw, My best fried has the same last name as you, with two N's! I've never seen another SwaNN until now. And I don't think you guys are related, either.

cheers,

Ben

You're very welcome. I do think that Redemption deserves to be the favorite of anyone who enjoys a good romance.

Ah, so you're actually pursuing the epic MA degree?? Bravo! I'm about a 3rd of the way done. I'm taking this year off, and I go back in the spring. I sure hope you get the singular pleasure of getting back into Bonca's class. As far as I know, no else besides us is part of Writer's Cafe. If you see any of them, try to do some serious recruiting. =)

thanks for the review. I like your point about not hearing the city. I rarely think about that...being a visual artist as well, sound sometimes takes a backseat to everything else.

I'll get to another of yours soon.
