I'm a painter and decorator, wall & floor tiler by trade, but have a degree in graphic design from Central St. Martins. After graduating worked a little in the advertising industry, hated it! Much happier as a humble tiler/decorator getting my hands dirty and doing a good honest days work! At the end of a hard days grafting that pint down the pub just tastes so much better!

My first memory of writing like everyone, was: I went down the zoo, it was great, I saw the Monkey, it was great, then I went and saw the Penguins, it was great, Mum and Dad bought me an ice-cream and it was great. Later I remember in 2nd year senior, I had written a story during one of my English classes and the teacher liked it so much that he made me stand up and read it in front of everyone, I've never been so embarrassed in all my life! Luckily it had the attention of the room, because I don't remember ever being hit in the face by a rubber band or a paper clip!

I haven't actually written in a long time, being a tradesmen now I don't really have that thinking space time any more. My main creative outlet theses days for any flights of fancy that may take my whim have been doodles on Myspace and Facebook friends pages. But by putting up some of my old writings of the ridiculous on here and mixing with proper writers maybe it will kick start me into writing something new?

I'll just need to finish the grouting in Mrs Braithwaites bathroom first!
