Character Creation Forum So she finds out she is to be ..

So how should my main character find out that she is to be sacrificed for her tribe as a Goddess?  She finds out she's the Reincarnate of a goddess, supposedly, but when she is unable to stop the winter from crippling the crops (because omg she's not a real goddess - surprise!) the people start to question their leader's choice (because the leader chooses the Reincarnte), and therefore the whole religion, and this is a theological based tribe.   So it threatens the political infrastructure.

I would probably have an "enlightened" character, a friend or family member, find out that she is going to be sacrificed, go to her, let her know what is going to happen & try to aid her in an escape.
