Challenge #3

Alrightie folks, the time has come. Here is the challenge: In 3 stanzas of 5 lines a piece, write about your best or worst feature rather it may be artistic, mental, physical, or spiritual. The challenge comes into play with this: I want each line to be only 10 syllables. So let me say again, 3 stanzas, 5 lines per stanza, 10 syllables per line. I really hope we can get some of those creative sparks going, cause lord knows we got the talent. As before, when you get the challenge completed please send it to Ms. Magnolia Belle and to myself. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me..

Let's get going, and remember I'm not one for deadlines, but I don't wanna wait forever.

Thank you again Emotional Warriors and I hope we can continue to learn.

Forgot to mention, any problems or ideas that need to be brainstormed or answered post them here. We are all here to help each other, this aint a contest cause we all know who would win...

Nahhh, kidding ;) I'd vote for Li Li or Belle..

But seriously let's help each other and see what we can do..

Wow! Pick one feature! Okay here it goes.
This is very sentimental to me.
"Savior More Than Life" writen for my boys.
With this piece I could have gone on and on.
From my heart, and soul I summed it all up.

My two beautiful boys, you are my life.
Can't emagine my world without you both.
Would I be a rich successful doctor?
A scientist discovering new things?
Famous actress with a hollywood star?

I would'nt change a single thing at all.
You two bring so much hope into my life.
You've filled my heart with love as each day past.
I'm blessed and honored to be your mother.
I'd give you the moon and stars if I could.

I'm really glad that Cade has pryed at our emotions. He has evoked some thoughts from the heart of Jamee and she really brought out me and Cades relationship again. Kind of rekindled the fire, but honestly I would like to thank Jamee and everyone else for giving their all. It is making me think and to also enjoy what I read.

Thanks again everybody

I'm late (kinda)...I'm not sure what to pick..it seems like all my ideas sound "cheeky"
but once I figure it out...It will be nothing. at all..I rememeber Iambic pentameter too well.

Hey Cade,
I took the challenge #3 as you requested. I followed all the guidelines. I enjoyed the experience. Let me know what you think. By the way, do all submissions get posted for all "challengers" to read?

Take care,
Buck

the underground

you walk above the cement highway marked
by your armani suits and leather cases
cell phone to eardistortion complicates
early morning number crunching exact habit
s**t, you think, im loosing money now.

i walk beside youi dont own a cell
i already hear the distortion bell
i stopped trying to keep the pace long past
i feared that id lost myself in green fields
i was wealthy, yet my soul was dead poor

now, the underground is where i exist so
people, of like kind, can find me no cell
societys images, edicts, norms, and loose change
are not what i desire in this concrete life
only the truth of ones self and quiet peace

Vince,

You can post it on your page as you would usually post your other work and Belle would add a link here in the forum. Other group members would review it.
